Patching MSDE

Hi all,

I have a few instances of MSDE that have been picked up as SQL server 7 Gold (using Microsoft Baseline Analyzer). I want to apply SQL7 SP4, but obviously need a rollback if there are any issues. Does anyone know what version of MSDE reports back as SQL 7 Gold? obviously I cant just use MSDE 2000A and load the databases back in as that's 2000 and these will be 7 structure.

Any info appreciated!

You can restore SQL 7 databases to a SQL 2000 engine with no problems.
