Installers tell me that they desire to use 66 blocks to punch down horizontal voice cabling in the "closet". They also deire to use rj-11 jacks at the work outlet in lieu of rj45. We spec'd rj45 patch panels, Cat6 cabling, and rj45 outlets for voice as well as data. Is there a problem with using the rj45 patch panel/outlet configuration for use with a Centrex tpe tleephone system?
