Patch now, reboot later

We are in a situation where it is necessary to patch servers in our datacenter in the evening, but wait until morning to perform the necessary reboots.

Are there any concerns with leaving a machine patched (but not rebooted) for any length of time? Is anyone else doing this? Does anyone NOT recommend doing this?

I agree.. shouldnt hurt anything...

just dont forget that you have pending updates.. because when this break and all you did was a reboot..
