Hi all,
I have a a couple of issues with Solaris 10 (11/06 install) on a X4200:
A) When i log in the update icon tell me that i have some updates available.
When i click and follow through with the installation and reboot. All the patch install fail.
When i read the logs i get the following message for all patches:
"This appears to be an attempt to install the same architecture and
version of a package which is already installed. This installation
will attempt to overwrite this package.
PaTcH_MsG 2 Patch number xxxx is already applied.
Dryrun complete.
No changes were made to the system.
"
I tried also to do smpatch update but got the same results.
Any ideas/suggestions/caveats on how i could fix this issue...
B) when using smc to list the disks i get the following error message:
"Attempt to get a list of all disks failled with unexpected error: null"
Any help there also would be greatly appreciated
