# pkgchk SUNWspro
WARNING: no pathnames were associated with <SUNWspro>

I've lots of pakage giving the folloeing msg when I issued the command showrev -p
Patch: 108754-01 Obsoletes: Requires: Incompatibles: Packages: SUNWypu
Patch: 108756-01 Obsoletes: Requires: Incompatibles: Packages: SUNWypu
How can I fix it? Is it normal.
All sun guru's please comment

I don't think you need worry. My machine gives me the same message. As far as I know, all you report above is normal. I never use the pkgchk command so maybe a refresh of the man page would help.

When you do showrev -p, you know that it shows all current patches installed. It will generally show something like;

Patches: <patch number> - the number of the patch being reported on

Obsoletes: <patch number> - some patches make previously installed patches obsolete - that's all it means.

Packages: <package name> - the package name that the patch applies to.

Greg.
