I will be installing a RSCS which will be terminated 568A.The question I have is will a straight through patch cable work for the work station outlet to the PC, and patch panel to switch?Or, will I have to use the 568A patch cables for the patching.I usually use 568A patch cables for a 568A terminated system, but would like to my stock of straight throughs.Thanks.

Ya lost me there- what is RSCS and if a patch cord is terminated 568A on both ends- hen it is straight through

Thanks for the reply phoneguy. This lends some clarity on my patch cord issue.

What are you refering to when you say RSCS?

Patchcords weather 568A or 568B etc, are straight through
unless they are configured and labeled as crossover.

Just for clarification, a crossover cable is a cable configured 568a on one end and 568b on the other.
