Hello,

I just like to know if it is possible to do PAT and static on the same ip-number. My ISP gave me an 8 IP-address network. 3 are gone for network, broadcast and router. That means I only have 5 IP-Numbers left. This is what I did:

IP1 - Outside Interface PIX and PAT for inside Network
IP2 - NAT Pool for inside Network
IP3 - NAT Pool for inside Network
IP4 - static for webserver in DMZ
IP5 - static for mail / webserver in DMZ

I need one more static for my vpn-server on the inside network. Is it possible to do it with IP1? Can I use the IPs 2 and 3 for anything else than the NAT-Pool (statice for additional servers for example)?

Thanxs for your help!

Thank you Yizhar,

I will check it out. I wasn't sure if it is possible.
