In Quattro Pro 9, if you use the quick filter to filter specific records it hides the rows that are not included in the filter. Unfortunately, when you select a block of cells, the hidden rows are included in the selection. I'm trying to paste something into a block of selected cells without affecting the hidden ones (ie: those not included in the selection). Does anybody know a way around this? I know I can copy from the filter without including the hidden rows by using the paste special command but there doesn't seem to be any allowance for copying to the filter without affecting the hidden data.
