IS-IT--Management
Hello people,
This one has been bugging me for many months. I am not sure when it started... but it certainly had a "start" time... most likely after a security patch or something thru auto updating Win XP or Office XP.
What I find is that when I try to paste something into an Outlook XP (2002) email, a little Yellow Key icon is all that gets pasted... Essentially pasting is blocked.
I have found that the only way I can get around this is that I have to DO NOTHING except COPY the text from its source and then jump to the email (which has to be ready and waiting) and then PASTE. If I do anything in between, even something simply like typing into the email or typing an address into the TO box etc... then when I go to paste it is blocked with this little yellow key appearing.
This is a real pain in the arse yet I have not managed to find anything on the MS support site or anywhere on the net that describes this issue. It must be happening to other users...???
I would certainly like to turn this "microsoft security feature" off. Any ideas? Ever heard of this?
Thanks a great deal,
Jonathan
