I've always copied and pasted from Illustrator 9.0 into Photoshop 5.0 with out a problem in system 9.0.

I recently upgraded to system 9.2 and now when I copy and paste it doesn't ask me if I want it to be pixels and it distorts the shape. Any ideas?

Can't you just "save as" and open directly in PS?

No--it says that I don't have enough memory to open a 175K document.

I have 192mb built-in memory and virtual memory set at 590 (7600 available). Maybe my memory settings got screwed up when I installed my new system folder. What should I set these up as?

You can drag and drop from illustrator to photoshop.
It's been years since I worked on a Mac, but I think that if you drag and drop into Photoshop it will be as an eps format, and if you press command while you do it it will be as paths.
It's the same for PC except ctrl is pressed.
If that doesn't help any I am out of ideas. Maybe a mac user would be of more use to you.
