Pasting formatted text in Word 2000

Hi

Some of my full Office 2000 instllations allow for pasting formatted text from onw Word doc to another but others will only allow pasting of unformatted text.

Does anybody know whay and how I fix it so that all my Word installations can paste formatted text?
