I have to make a bunch of changes to keys on almost all phones in my system (400+) to change CLID tables for each phone. I have been able to use the tn parser to get a usable report of all tn's in the system and I wrote a little excel formula to be able to extract commands as I would put them in the pbx. So telneted to the switch and pasted the commands:
chg
2616
004 0 03 13
yes
key 00 scr 2737 30
key 01 scr 5737 d
and it seems to be pasting faster than the pbx can make the changes. Has anyone been successful pasting commands?...Dose OTM have any provisions for this? I have also been attempting to console in to the switch using putty and haven’t had any luck. I know what port my VT520 terminal is using(tty 6) and I matched the settings on the terminal but using a null modem / modem cable I can't get in. My thought is terminal may respond differently to pasted commands. I do this with network switches all the time...I didn't think it would be this difficult on this. =-/ thanks for any pointers.
