Paste Table from Excel to Frontpage 2000

When I paste a formatted (borders and colour) table from Excel 2000 to Frontpage 2000, it does not retain the correct formatting. The table is pasted with a dotted border.

If I paste the table into Word 2000 then copy and paste it from Word into Frontpage it seems to work OK.

Any ideas what causes this & how to resolve?

It's the way that Excel handles copy & paste functions - the Word work around seems to be the only fix.

What about just saving your Excel page AS html?

Then paste the code into FP.
