Hello

I have a few small photos (about 1" long). I would like to be able to 'paste' these along the length of a new transparent image, about 6" long, I have created in Photoshop 7.

What I have found, though, is that when I open up the new blank transparent image and, copy and paste my small thumbnail onto this blank strip, that Photoshop pastes the thumnail in the middle of it - whereas I would like to be able to position the pasted image onto the strip whereI wish (or at least from left to right).

How would I do this?

Many thanks.

Steve

Easiest to put the little pics on their own layer and then use the Move tool (top right on tools pallette) to put them where you want.

Using OSX 10.3.9 on a G4

Definethe 6' space first .. then add a new layer where you will paste the 1' image.

Once you've done this you can save the image in various format like gif or png to achieve a transparent area over the rest of that specific image.

However, depending on the application you may or may not be able to view them in a layered manner unless you're doing it in photoshop.

Many thanks for those tips. I'll try them and see which works best.

Thanks again.

Steve
