I have created a database that I want to share with another company.

Although we want to see all the fields, some will be accessed by my organisation and some by the other organisation.

Is there any way in which each field can be passworded?

I was naively hoping that i could go into the form or field design and find a means of passwording it!

Please help..

Regards

Hi Bill!

If you set up security groups, you can use the form's open event and lock/unlock controls based on the group that the user is in.

Bill, I've been told that it's not possible, but I don't give up that easily. I also need to know if it's possible to password-protect a field. In my case it's the "Salary" field and obviously not all employees should be able to view the contents of that field.

If I hear of or figure out how to do it, I'll pass the word on to you!
