Hello there!
I have a hipath pbx, and i connect to it via a serial cable (V.24). There is no network card.
The last days when doing the same procedure as always via HiPath Manager E software i get a "Logon rejected" message everytime.
Normally i was using "31994/31994" combo but it doesnt work anymore.
Going through the last lastload.kds i also found two more usernames 633423 and 18140815. I tried both combos 18140815/18140815 and 633423/633423 without success.
I checked the cable using a polymeter and he pinouts seem fine. The siemens technician does not deal with these types of pbx's anymore and he doesn't know any backboor password ( as i read in this forum that there is one).
I could try a reset and load the last backup i have, but i fear that if the mainboard holding the COM port is failing, then i will not be able to do a restore.
Is there any way i can check if the com port is fully functional?
Or is there anyone knowing how to access the system via a backdoor and maybe reset the 31994 password?
Best regards.
