I was hired to do some work on a novell network at a small buisness. They have one novell server and two windows 2k servers. The network users logon to the novell server and then can access the win 2k servers. I am going to upgrade them to novell 6. The office doesn't have any idea what the password for admin could be. When the users log on to the network on a workstation, their password is stored on that computer as a PWL file. On a few of the computers I see admin.pwl. How can I decode this file to find out the password of admin?

Do they have an account that is security-equal to admin? -----------------------------------------------------

Just login as an administrator equivalent and change the administrators password.

If you cannot locate or remember what the ADMIN password is, and no Supervisor access from a Bindery level can be used... then there is only one solution... contact Novell Tech Support! They will be able to help you gain ADMIN level access.

Good Luck!

For a sizeable price no doubt... -----------------------------------------------------
