Hi everyone

I want to set up a survey page through dreamweaver where the user has to use a password to enter it so that unwanted users can't access the page. Also is there a way to do it without having to set up a registration page as on average there will be 10,000 responses.

Can you please let me know how to do this

Thanks!

Merry

You could put a bit of code in a page that checks the previous page submitted a password and if not redirects. What Server Side language are you using?

Thanks Cheech

I am using Dreamweaver 6, HTML coding. Any suggestions?

If you are only using html and no scripting then your only option would be javascript which would be easily got round just by turning javascript off. To protect your pages properly you will need some sort of serverside scripting.

Some javascript examples
