I've recently acquired a used Meridian1 Option11C with Meridian Mail and have NONE of the system passwords. I really don't care what's presently in the system - as we're going to rebuild everything.

Is there a way to reset the passwords (and even the entire system) to the factory default for both the M1 and the MerMail? I know the factory default for the M1 is 0000 - what about the Mail?

Any help would be most helpfull.

 
No, Colin. I'm in the US .... although, wouldn't mind being in the UK. Lots of 'old friends' at BT could be quite helpful, I'm sure.

Colin or anyone, do you know a way? We have taking over a project and the vendor has gone bust and we do not have a system passwords (Option 11, Call Pilot, MM). These are live systems so therefore we cannot rebuild them,

very simple fix, IF you have the original install software with the key codes, just do a new install and load the default cdb, you could even restore a cust data base from a different system if this is a replacement, just don't do a restore from a cdb that has passwords you don't know

sorted the switch access, now need to get Call Pilot passwords, any ideas?
