Password Reset Capabilities 1

Hi All,

We are running a Windows AD domain. I have been looking at some options for software that will allow users to reset their passwords themselved through some web client that will ask them a security question.

After searching the net, I have found a couple of solutions such as "ActiveIdentity" which offers a Single-Signon with optional Password Reset capabilities.

Has anyone used anything like this, and can recommend a good solution.

Just to clarify, you want password reset ability, or simply account unlock ability? The former seems like a pretty huge security problem to me, unless that utility has some sort of security question like you see with e-mail accounts, banks, and other password protected services.

It adds a 'forgot password' option to the users login UI,
not sure of the costs involed with this but it sounds like it's what your after.
