Password Recovery on NEC NEAX 2000 IPS 1

Hi,

Does anyone know how to recover or reset a password on a NEC NEAX 2000 IPS? I had one in storage for a few years and don't have the password anymore. I do not want to default the switch as there is considerable programming on there.

We are not allowed to post password hacks here however I believe there is a legitimate way to find the password using the sense switch but I am not conversant with the method!
