Password Recovery for Definity Lab System

I've recently acquired a Definity G3csiR12 for use as a home lab system. The system was pulled out of service right before I got it, and it appears the passwords were changed from default on all accounts (cust, craft, and dadmin). I understand from reading other threads that there are certain accounts with the ability to either reset passwords or create admin accounts, but they are locked with challenge-response passwords. Is there a way either I or anyone might gain access to this system for use in my lab, or have I gotten myself a fifty-pound doorstop?

Only Avaya can reset this for you but it would most likely need to be registered with them before they would reset the passwords.
