I want to make some of my web pages accessable to only those that have a password. How do I go about this?

The only reasonably secure way to do this is with server-side code... You can use server-side jscript and ASP with a table from the database of your choice to accomplish this pretty well...

an interesting client side solution I saw was implemented by asking the user a password, and building the next pages url with that string so if the proper password is "jive" the page it protects is jive.htm... you jsut dont link to jive.htm anywhere else except through your password input...
