Hi,

I have an interesting problem...

We have an in-house program that uses the Adobe's PDFWriter to create PDF. Which is awesome.

The problem is that we need to password protect each PDF as its being created. It is too time consuming for users to open teh printed PDF, then apply the password to it.

Is it possible in Adobe PDF Writer, or any other PDF Creation program, to print a file to PDF, and at the same time provide each with a unique password?

Or is there a Post process to apply password to a PDF w/o opening it?

I look forward to any insight you may be able to provide.

1.Why not use adobe distiller instead of pdfwriter?
2.you can try pdfenc from it is free and supports batch.
3.or you can just use pdfcreator, it is open source(of course free and supports encrypt).
