password protecting a sheet??

i am in need of creating aa excell folder with several worksheets. i need to leave at least one with full access by anyone, but also require a password to access some of them, not even read only option...complete<br>
lock-out for several sheets is needed....<br>

If I follow you correctly<br>
You require Permissions on files in a folder.<br>
If so this can only be done on and NTFS partition.<br>
If its a FAT partition it will Passwords are not part of it.<br>
So NTFS partitions are only available on NT workstations and NT servers If they were set up that way.<br>
If the above statements are true<br>

DougP... please Slap me.... if I'm being stupid again.... a work around (I know.... I'm very simplistic...) couldn't be to use Two... that's 2 Excel files where you will put your publick worksheet on one of them and the rest of the sheets on the second (making it password protected) and setting up macros or links to open the second one.<br>

All the data could be read from the first one into the second one anyway.....<br>

Like I said.... my brain functions at very basic levels... but it does so... with lots and lots of LUUUUUUUV........<br>
