Password Protected files

I have a website and I like to protect some files on my website with a password. Most of the website is done in MS FrontPage and rest in HTML. I like to use multiple usernames and passwords for these users. I like to include some login window to my website. Thank you for any help or suggestions.

I would suggest a server-side solutoin, using ASP, JSP, PHP, etc.

You need to ask your ISP if your account can use any of these.

Using client-side security just isn't secure enough.
