I need some help. I have a retail business and I an trying to password protect a few fields on my form. Here is a list of fields I have on my form:

ItemNo
ProductName
WhitePrice
YellowPrice
OpenhousePrice
RetailPrice
Units
Description
Image

What I would like to is have The fields WhitePrice, YellowPrice, and OpenHousePrice fields not visible while looking at the record. If I want to see these prices I would like a form to open up and ask for a password. If the password is correct, I would like these 3 fields to become visible. I would like this to happen for each record because I share this database with my clients and I don't want my clients looking at these 3 fields. Any help would be greatly appriciated.

You may be best considering Access Security, or two alternate front-ends. It would not be difficult to set the visible property of fields, but it would not be difficult to by-pass this, too.

Any Access database can be hacked. I think my solution would be to have two versions of the database, one with prices and one without. The one with the prices would be the "master", and I would create some sort of function to update the non-prices database with the master's data.
