Hi,

I would like to schedule a periodic reboot of a Notes server. Currently this is not possible since once the Notes server is started, it will ask for the server ID password. This is even if the server is installed as a service.

One of our servers does not require entering the password during server starting so it should be possible to remove this from the other servers too.

How can this be done?

Hello,

I would first try to open the nlnotes.exe client on the Server and then clear the Server ID passord. If this doesn't work, I would re-certify the Server and make sure you set the password quality to "0" and don't speicify a Password.

Hope this helps.

Rgds,

John
