Hi There

Today I tried to login to one of Signalling Servers and I got the below notification, but no matter what password I enter, it says it is incorrect and disconnects me.

Changing password for admin
(current) UNIX password:

I am able to connect to UCM webpage. When I try change the password in UCM, it gives me the following error:

System Error A system error has occurred. The most common reason is that another user has deleted the selected object.
Refer to the log for detailed information.

Click Back to return to the previous page, then refresh it to ensure that you are viewing the most current information.

Any help would greatly appreciated.

I found this answer below

CS1000 rls 6 Element Manager

Attempting to upload new IP Set firmware files and getting 'A system error has occurred. The most common reason is that another user has deleted the selected object' plus runtime errors and WEB0012 errors

Caused by /var being 100% full on the UCM - use diskSizeShow to check

So for UCM from the manual

Resetting an Administrator password
If the Administrator password is forgotten or the account is locked out, the password can be
reset from the user interface. Use the following procedures for logging on to the local logon
page with an emergency account.
1. In the Web browser Address bar, type of the
Primary Security Server and press Enter.
2. Log on using the default emergency account (admin or admin2)
The Security Configuration page appears.
3. In the Web browser Address bar, type of the
Primary Security Server and press Enter.
4. In the User ID field, type the User ID for the password you want to reset.
5. In the New password field, type a new password.
6. In the Confirm new password field, type the new password again.
7. Click Save.
A confirmation page appears when you change the password.

And once you get the password reset go in and change the Expiry settings to never expire.

@FireBirdScrambler @bignose21 I managed to logon using a different username, I did a diskSizeShow and got the following:

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda11 2.0G 1.4G 454M 76% /
/dev/sda9 7.8G 655M 6.8G 9% /home
/dev/sda8 16G 1.4G 14G 10% /opt
/dev/sda6 20G 494M 18G 3% /tmp
/dev/sda2 23G 276M 21G 2% /admin
/dev/sda5 53G 12G 39G 24% /var
/dev/sda10 7.6G 146M 7.1G 2% /var/coredump
/dev/sda7 16G 568M 14G 4% /var/log
/dev/sda1 93M 52M 37M 59% /boot
tmpfs 1013M 16K 1013M 1% /dev/shm

I have been able to change the admin password with the webpage and I can log into the webpage with it, but I still can't login to the CLI with admin username. Keeps on giving me the above error.

When connecting to Linux, the admin username and password wont work. So I used another one, which gave me access. After i type in cslogin, I get to the CS and can then use the admin username and password just fine.

admin should work also after the initial security config. But before that you have to use root, nortel or admin2 depending on release

The admin account should be set up as a netowrk administrator and the password expiry should be set no never

@KCFLHRC

The password has been set to never expire since day 1, that is why I dont understand why it is doing this. I have been working on this site for 2 years now and it has never asked this.
