password not allowed

hi. is it possible in office 2000 or Xp to prevent non allowed users to set a password on files? in other words, i'm the lan admin, i want 2 or 3 users only to have this possibility...

Don't know for sure but I doubt it. The creator / owner of a M$ file can do pretty much what they want with it Rgds
