Password generation script. 1

I want to create a "Suggest a password" page. Does anyone know of a good script (CGI, asp, in-line vbscript or jscript) to generate strong passwords? (i.e. mixture of upper and lower case letters and numbers)

I've surfed through a few scripting sites and haven't been able to find anything.

As a postscript I ran into an interesting problem with this script. If you cut and paste the code from the web page into a page you're editing with FrontPage98 it will not work.

The code as presented has nested tables. Evidently a browser has no problem with the way it was done, but FP's autoformatting doesn't like it and moves the </form> tag inside one of the tables so the output no longer works.

After pasting the code, you need to move the form tags outside the outermost table. After that it works fine.
