Password for Resources

I am looking to set up outlook web access on my corporate mail server but for security reasons I would like to password (beyond the NT auth) protect it from the public. Is there a way to setup the pix to ask for a password when accessing a statically mapped ip?h Brock D. Mowry,MCP

HI.

Yes, you can use AAA commands, with an external RADIUS/TACACS+ server.

If the clients will use laptop computers and not "any" client computers, then an alternate option is to establish some kind of VPN instead of only authentication.

do you have any links to info regarding TACACTS+ or radious
i run a windows 2000 network can't i use w2k server for that

Yes, W2K IAS can work in conjuction with the pix using RADIUS protocol.
