Password for Dlink 300i DSL modem held captive by Alliant Telecom

Hi, I've got a Dlink 300i modem and I'm unable to access the firmware by either the console port or Dlink's management application. I'm somewhat aware that the password is held only by Alliant (Newtel). I'm guessing the username for the console is "Admin", but I'm not having any luck as to the password.
