hi
we have a peer to peer network for abt 5 computers.
today all of a sudden only one computer prompted your windows password expired and cannot share anything.
i tried to change the password but didnt work and also it didnt enabled the option of APPLY after changing it.
is there any place where it says an option that Password never expires?
any help is appreciated.
thanks

karsh,

You'll need to provide a little more information.

If you are using Win NT, XP or 2K, yes, you can specify that accounts and passwords do not expire. Win9x is not very strong in users and security and it's passwords don't expire.

It is usually done in the User Manager application but access to the User Manager differs a little based on the OS.

Look for an administrative menu and/or User Manager application on the control panbels or start menu.

Hope that helps.
