We are running a Windows 2003 domain. The password is set to notify users of their account expiration within the last 5 days. When the domain notifies them to change their password because they have XX number of days left to change it they do. The problem is that the next day they login it asks them to change it again. This goes on every morning. It is like the domain is not resetting the expiration date after they change their password.

In account properties the User cannot change password is NOT checked. And I talked with Microsoft conceirge service and they gave me this KB article: This isn't going to work because its for local user accounts.

Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

How many Domain Controllers do you have?

This sounds to me like a problem with a DC not replicating the change to me.

Check for replication errors ro DNS errors.

I hope you find this post helpful. Please let me know if it was.
