I have read the past threads about password expiration but can't believe that windows 2000 server does not have a way to go into an exsisting user and modify his/her account so the password doesn't expire or has longer life.

Having gone into those accounts I can only "reset" the password. Being relatively new at server 2000 I would appreciate any help you could give. I would really like to do this at a group level but individuals would work as we have a small group.

Thanks...

If you have AD running then create an OU, put the users in it and create a new group policy object that applies to this new OU. You could set up several policy objects depending on expiration times.

Thanks for the help... bit embarassed as I thought I had previously done that.. obviously not! Works great.
