When logging on to XP password doesn't work.. Is their a way to reset it??

I know of two ways; expensive and painful. Expensive is getting a boot CD which will unlock it. Painful is reinstalling Windows. One product, for example, is:

which is $195. You could try searching Google for something less expensive.

Start in safe mode and log on as Administrator. Then go to Control Panel, User Accounts, select the user and change the password.
