Password Database

Hi,
We had a admin who had changed the password for the veritas password database. So I renamed the bewinui file.
Now whether or not I enter a password during logon for the password database, I am able to browse all computers on the network. I thought the purpose was not to let any user browse the computers on the network without the passwrd database password entered???

Go to HELP, type in LOGIN. Then read the part about DEFAULT ATTACH INFO. I think that might answer your question.

I have more question.....I get two logon dialog boxes...the first has one has spaces to put in the username/psswrd and a domain and drop down menu for picking the server. The 2nd is the box for the password database...If I type in a inccrct psswrd for either of them, I can't browse the network..Is that right? Are they interchangeable?
