I was asked to make sure the passwords on some serivces (including backupexec) were changed periodically.

But is this possible with BackupExec. It has it's own account when you execute the software, so when you change the passwords on the services, it complains that the password is wrong when you go back to execute BackupExec.

Do I simply make it a tricky password and leave it alone?

It looks as if I'd have to write a script to automatically change the password account within BackupExec each month, as well as the local NT Account.
