We've "inherited" a Peachtree program and cannot get in to extract old accounting data because a disgruntled ex-employee changed the password upon departure.

Is there a "master" username/password, or some password back door?

Thanks in advance,

Rick

I also had the same problem. Had not used the program in a long time and forgot the darn password. Fortunately I found and downloaded their demo program which at least gave me the first 2 letters of my password. From there I was able to get in. You will have to purchase the full version if you can not break in from the first two letters of the password that the employee set. I believe the cost is $49 for the program. Hope this helps you.
