passport to meridian problems...

Hi,

We have a problem....

we have a 8600 sw ver PCR 5.2.2 and its connected to a meridian option 81 via some mcdn links, Dual PRI in the Meridian and 4pE1Mvpe in the passport

the mcdn ccts that are in one slot (5) work fine and we are able to make calls from the meridian via the passport to the remote site. the card in slot 4 of the passport rejects the call with the following Dchannel message:

FEAT :NCID
PROGRESS: ORIG ADDR IS NOT ISDN
CALLING #:6405 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE
CALLED #:5206008 NUM PLAN: PRIVATE
DCH 23 IMSG REL COMP REF 0000001E CH 11 30 TOD 20:07:41
CAUSE :UNASSIGNED NUMBER


Now I know that all teh channels from the meridian work as we've tested them to card 5. I know that the number plan in the passport works, and the wierd thing is that calls can be received via card 4 but not made.

The card has been swapped out and the same fault occurs.

Anuone got any clues?

This complex problem IMHo need to be resolve in NN support team.

fixed it in the end..

needed a reboot to put it all back in it's place.

good to see nortel still on form....
