We upgraded from v300 to v303 on our Passport 8600. In doing so, we could no longer boot to our old configuration, it said that a variable was missing. We had to reconfigure the config from the ground up.

Anyone else have this problem and is there a work around?

Thanks

We had the same thing happen. We had to go into the VI editor and remove a line that ref. and RMON.

What line did you remove? I see 3 lines with reference to RMON.

Thanks

All I can remember is that we could see and error when we booted the 8600 via terminal, it said something about a bad command or something like that that had a refrence to the RMON stuff. Then we edited the file add remove the lines for that RMON what ever it was and it was able to boot. This has happened on 3.0.3 aswell as 1 of the beta version we tried. Hope this helps. Nortel was able to help us on this also.
