Passport 8600 RMON SNMP Trap Problem

I am having a problem getting RMON to generate SNMP traps on my Passport 8600 running v 3.7.9.

I have RMON enabled and an alarm configured with rising and falling values. The event is configured to "log-and-trap". When the rising and falling events are triggered I see them in the log and when showing the event info the last triggered time is updated, but I get no SNMP traps in my trap receiver server.

I am able to generate and receive other SNMP traps, by pulling the PCMCIA card for example, but I see no traps with RMON.

I have tried several different agent/event combinations with no luck. Any ideas anyone?
