There are 3 VLANs in our network and we can assign an IP address to each VLAN interface. While connecting this switch, we connected all our computers in VLAN 1 and forgot to assign an IP address to its interface. All computers in this VLAN are in the subnet (192.168.0.0 to 192.168.3.254) with subnet mask of 255.255.252.0

Now, when I try to assign an interface IP address to VLAN1 in the above range, it gives me an error saying that there is an IP address conflict.

To access the switch, we have connected the management port of the switch to VLAN1

If I'm understanding you correctly, you have an IP in the range of 192.168.0.0-192.168.3.254 on the management port.

Change the IP on the management port to something other than an address thats valid on VLAN 1, then you should be able to assign the address you want to VLAN 1.

Once you enable forwarding on the 8300 you can access the config via any address on any of the VLANs, not strictly through the management port.
