Passport 8300 Console Question

Hi

I am new to this switch when i connect via console i cannot seem to access CLI mode i all i get is a -> and a few commands, how do i access the CLI,

When i try and view its status from device manager, it shows "frontOperStatus: testing"

The "Online" LED is solid amber

Sounds like the box is stuck in boot up. Try rebooting the box with the console connection plugged in. This will scroll any error messages to screen.
