I have an 8100 with redundant 8190SM management modules that have lost their IP connections somehow. The slot 5 MM has apparently been reconfigured from default Console settings (its not 9600, 8-n-1). I am able to get into the redundant with a console connection. Im trying to get into the master MM without dropping the switch. Does anyone know a way to edit the config of one MM from the other without an IP address?

Thanks in Advance

The command 'Peer telnet' works on newer software versions on the 8690SF, so it might be the same on the 8190SM. It uses an internal loopback type of IP address to so this.
Also have you checked the little flick switch on the front of the card ( DCE / DTE settings). Make sure it's set the same as the card that you can console too.

Hope this helps.
