passive ftp

I am setting up ssh to tunnel ftp sessions between two Solaris boxes. But I couldn't find the passive command in the ftp client. I know the ftp server support it because I tried ftp from a Linux box and I was able to turn on passive mode (I tried this on both Solaris 26., 7 and 8).

Is there an ftp client for Solaris that supports passive mode? Thanks.

I know that wget (

http://www.gnu.org/software/wget/wget.html)

can do passive FTP. I've used it for grabbing entire sites, but it doesn't have to be used that way.
I believe I've also used nftp, but that is not a free product, just to let you know.
