Passive FTP support on SCO Server?

I am being told that on my current SCO server 3.2.2, the FTP server does not support passive mode.

I have also been told that an upgrade to a newer version of SCO will not help as passive mode is not supported either.

There are dozens of apps on this server and it's been suggested that I reload the system with Linux.

I would REALLY love a solution that would allow me to support passive mode on my current platform.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.
