Is there anyway to pass the value of two variables as the values to show in a pie chart?

I have two variables that can only be determined through a complex set of 5 logic statements used to assess the group records. I wantr to pass those variable to a chart and give a graphical representation but cannot get Crystal to accept any formula where variables are used.

It may not be the variables themselves, but the fact that the variables rely on Group Summary fields. Since your variables are probably "WhilePrinting" you can't summarize them further.

Have you tried using an "advanced" chart without summarizing the values?
