Hi everyone,

I have a report that uses a Crystal Query Designer .qry file as the source of data.

In the report I have a formula that calculates a specific date and I want to pass that date to the .qry so that it selects based on that date.

How do I pass this date value that is auto-generated by a formula in the report to the .qry Query that is being run?

Cheers,

John

You could pass the date to a subreport as a parameter, and have the subreport access the qry.

Ok but how does the sub-report pass the value on to the qry?

The report is currently setup so that users have to manually select a date and a parameter exists for this in the qry so this works ok. Now we want to automatically generate the date using a formula so that users dont have to manually enter it in.
